Labo Traces is a format by and about TANZ LINZ, the dance company of the Landestheater Linz, apart from the main stage and independent of the schedule. It is a format that seeks proximity to the audience and aims to create a new approach to the art form of dance. As a dance laboratory, Labo Traces is a search for common origins and futures. Labo Traces constantly changes from performance to performance and evolves, particularly in dialogue with the audience, other art forms, and the performance venue.

The Choreographic Platform Austria visited the performance "It Was" on April 4 at the Lentos Art Museum for our video contribution and spoke with some of the participants: Matteo Cogliandro and Pedro Tayette, who (as dancers of the company) choreographed the piece, the two dancers Fleur Wijsman and Mischa Hall, the First Violinist of the Bruckner Orchestra Alexander Heil, as well as Roma Janus, the artistic director of the dance department at Landestheater Linz.
