Basic purpose of this website
Information platform for contemporary dance and performance art in Austria
The Choreographic Platform Austria (CPA) aims to make visible and provide a network for the choreographic activities in the Austrian federal states. This is achieved, on the one hand, through a biennial event presenting dance and performance productions from Austria. On the other hand, CPA serves as an online platform informing about choreography and dance activities in the Austrian federal states.
In 2023, a consortium of leading organizers in the field of dance, choreography, and performance consisting of brut, Festspielhaus St. Pölten, Tanzquartier Wien, ImPulsTanz, Osterfestival Tirol, and Szene Salzburg planned the joint implementation of a three-day choreographic platform. The website www.choreographic-platform.at represents and accompanies the nationwide dance activities between the platforms.
