The CPA festival 2023 took place in Vienna and St. Pölten from Thursday, October 19th, to Saturday, October 21st, 2023. It was curated by a group of leading institutions in the field of dance, choreography, and performance, including brut, Tanzquartier Wien, Festspielhaus St. Pölten, ImPulsTanz, Osterfestival Tirol, and SZENE Salzburg. The three-day program included 13 productions, featuring not only major works by renowned choreographers but also smaller formats and pieces by newcomers. The artistic program was complemented by Pitching Sessions, providing an opportunity for 12 additional artists to present their work in a moderated setting, and screenings of choreographic films, some of which were created during the pandemic lockdowns.
