In A Year without Summer, Florentina Holzinger outlines a new apocalyptic vision of artificial life: in an attempt to dominate nature, the body becomes a field of experimentation that is subject to increasingly radical weather conditions. Telling a story about humans interfering with nature to the point of perversion, A Year without Summer is an attempt to pit the promise of eternal life against certain death.
